Ayoko isipin un, pero sana may next time pa...

(pleaseeeee... hehehehe)

Went to Kobe Luminarie last night...
At first I was not that excited to go because it was 1.5hrs away from my apartment so it would be total 3hrs of train ride just to see Christmas lights hanging on streets...

This lights daw are a way of reminding Kobe people to do one's best after they were hit by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake morning of January 17, 1995. (Please google for the images. Keyword : Great Hanshin Earthquake 1995)

Grabe lang ung images, like isang buong highway tumamba dahil dun sa earthquake with cars in it.., like normal day for work lang siya sana peo this earthquake hit them and then ayun biglang nagbago lahat.. but i dont worry that much for Japan.. kasi sanay naman na sila sa mga gantong event , and WELL prepared for this kind of disaster. I am a bit worried to our beloved country... Kaya kaya ng Pinas?

While roaming the streets of Kobe last night naisip ko ung news about earthquake sa Pinas. Oo medyo nde na xa ganon kasikat now dahil natabunan na ng ALDUB,LAGLAG BALA and ELECTION matters, pero i hope nde maging ganon ka destructive ang earthquake na un. (To think na puro concrete ang structure sa Pilipinas) I hope God can spare the Philippines from this.

Having birthdays when your already an adult is no fun at all...

Getting older reminds me that i have to do something with my finances and not just spend it with crochet stuffs and collecting toys...

Its like an alarm clock that continually rings in your head and for you to able to make it stop is to work on it asap....

But my 28th birthday is a bit different...

Kinyoubi no mae / The Friday before the.....

During my Tokyo/Chiba trip, Goto san had asked me if i can join them to dinner on the 20th, together with other Japanese Sempai's.
He was not clear about the reason for the dinner but he asked me twice if i could and if i dont have any plans for that day.
At first I was a bit hesistant because it might be an awkward dinner, like i might not talk to much but they would expect me too, and i dont know why I have to go to the dinner in the first place.
But i said Yes, though im not that sure if i would like to come.

Come the 20th day, It was also our salary day so no one will be rendering overtime work.
Goto san emailed 7 of us that are invited for the Yakiniku party.
I get on the last bus around 6pm with Kawarabayashi san and my crush.... ayieee..
Awkward part is i waited for Kawarabayashi san to get off the bus and my crush waited for me to walk with him...
1st time that it happened that he waited for me. After reaching the main road, i would have to say goodbye to him
and go with Kawarabayashi san... the awkward part we didnt invite him with us for the dinner. We just said our goodbyes and let him walk away...
Like its a super secret dinner...

Upon reaching the restaurant, the 4 others invited in the dinner was patiently sitting waiting for our arrival.
And then I asked Kawarabayashi san the reason for the dinner, and to my surprise they answered that my birthday is coming soon so its a dinner for NEZ san's birthday...
watttadaaaa.... i was only expecting chocolates or candies and stuff but they planned 2 weeks before a eat all you can Yakiniku party.... #Spoiled

Yoru no mae / The night before the.....

2days before my birthday, i was invited to go with other filipino trainees sa Kyoto.. (Ikwento ko nalang sa ibang post ung about Kyoto)

#OplanGastos #DiAkoBusy #Kuracha

So it was on the 22nd and 23rd... nakauwi ako ng tanghali sa bahay so I decided to take a nap before uploading pics and chat with bf and sa bahay...

Pag gcng ko i prepared dinner for my self nothing special.. rice at ulam...

Then ayun chat chat..

May regalo si bf sken na shirt with Bible verse.. Couple Shirt DAW namin.. and isuot daw namin sa Victory Weekend pag uwi ko...  Its a simple gift pero the thought of Ian para sa shirt na un make my heart skip beats... a bit nervous... Im so glad na i dont have to push him my religion this time and by himself nakakilala xa...

Sa bahay they greeted me thru chat na din.. ayoko tumawag.. baka maiyak ako.. medyo may konting homesickness na nag paramdam kaya nkipag chat nalang ako and lied na im tired etc...

The day....

I was so tired when I wake up... Was dragging myself out of my futon and wishing I had birthday leave privileges. But I don't have any so I took a shower and then leave for work.

I got together with my Nepal Officemate from inside the train. She haven't greeted me or something, she just asked about my trip in Kyoto.
I'm hinting that she totally forgot my birthday which will be easy because another Filipino officemate will be celebrating his birthday too on the 26th. 2days after mine.

Upon reaching my table, My two Japanese Sempai's immediately greeted me a happy birthday. I forced a smile peo after a while nde forced kasi nakakatawa ung isang Japanese... hehehe.. Binilan nia ko nung chocolate na lagi ko dinadala sa opis... peo 100yen lang xa.. hehehe.. peo kahit na its the thought that counts.. hahaha..

After lunch Merina san (one of the Nepal officemate) if they could go to my apartment later that night. And sinabi din nia na we dont have to do overtime that day and nag paaalam na xa sa hapon... so i said yes agad agad...sino ba namang gusto mag ot during bdays.. wla naman siguro.. heheheh...

Then I realized na wala pala akong foods sa bahay..and na ang kalat ng kwarto ko that day dahil nde pa ko nakapag unpack from the trip the day before... <medyo panic>

Peo buti nalang sabi nila may puntahan pa naman daw sila iba before sa bahay so keri pa mag linis ng very very light...

Before going home , nilapitan ako nung pinaka boss dito sa table ko..grineet nia then binigyan ng 2 kitkat bars.. hehehe.. and after a while ung isang japanese din na nag aayos nman ng schedule.. binigyan nia ko ng coffee beans chocolate... yum..

Then ayun umuwi na.. I decided to cook my visitors Adobo and bought salad as sides..

Nakapag linis din ako ng very very light as planned dahil medyo after 1hr din bago sila nkapunta sa bahay..

To my surprise may dala silang cake and gift for me... Like nung isang post ko nag dadrama ako na kahit isang candy lang matangap ko maiiyak na ko.. peo parang super over whelming ung mga dumating....diba.... iba talaga...

May awkward moments pala kame during dinner... hehehe... May tradition pala ang mga Nepalese with friends birthdays and cake.. so may cake cutting and then they will feed it to you... I dont know the reason for it.. peo medyo naawkward ako na isubo ung cake.. hahaha.. did i just get married? hahahaha... peo they dont use spoon.. just hands.. so next time may madaanan kang birthday party with nepalese, make sure malinis ang kamay mo...

The title of this post is from Merina's FB post... She described me as the sweetest and prettiest girl from the Philippines... #NakaNaman... Im just sooo happy to be considered as their friend and as a sweet person... hahaha.. feeling ko kasi others always find me mean, suplada and all negative traits you can think of..... hahaha.... Peo nice to know someone is thinking the opposite...

(Roam around Tokyo with style.... payong.... hahahaha....)

2nd day sa kabihasnan... TOKYO!!!

Had a good sleep in the hotel bed while the TV is still on..
Nagising ako around 6:30 with no alarm, so not a bad way to wake up na din... pero feeling ko nagising lang din ako dahil sobrang lamig... hahaha...
na-on ko nga pala ung AC after kong mag bath tub, and medyo nasanay sa apartment ko sa Osaka na namamatay automatically ung AC after 3hrs.
The weather forecast for that day for Tokyo is whole day rain.... (BTW sobrang accurate ng weather reports nila so no choice kundi maniwala)
Kung hindi ka nga naman sweswertihin... hahahaha..

But NOOO... kumilos na ko before pa ko totally madown... and kailangan ko na din mag almusal para maka rami sa breakfast buffet and imeet si Hayashi san sa lobby ng hotel after..

(TMI : Hindi ako naligo this time..  iniisip ko kasi kung maliligo ako anlamig... magblower pa ko ng buhok bago mag almusal...and it will take time so i decided not to, tutal naligo naman na ko nung kinagabihan) hahahahaha...

After breakfast, bumalik sa room then baba ulet with my things and meet Hayashi san a bit later. We went to the station near the office ulet to meet Saito san. ¥400 for the whole day na..

On our way to out first stop, narealize ko kung gano ka efficient ng tren dito....as in pangarap kong maging ganto sa Pilipinas... someday.... soon.... sooonest.....

1st Stop : Tokyo Sky Tree

Price Ticket : Around  (¥2500medyo pricey, peo c/o Saitoh san ung ticket... yey)

Ayon sa source, Saito san... nag chip in ung mga ibang boss and ung iba na nde makakasama for my Tokyo Sight seeing... so mukang madami dami xang baon.. weeee....

What i enjoyed most : If you are Ghibli Fan, may Official Ghibli store malapit dito... may malaki silang Totoro...

Naenjoy ko din ung Christmas decor nila sa place...and ung mga Japanese pattern ng walls and windows as well as the elevator from Edo Era daw.. (trivia lang ni Saito san.. pero i dont have idea what year ang Edo Era, peo totoo namang maganda)
Medyo maulan, and makapal ung fog so wala ka din maxado makikita from inside the Viewing Deck. (which is the main purpose sana of the entrance ticket)
Pero overall ang nice ng feeling to see Tokyo streets kahit papano and bridges sa paligid neto... At ung Asahi Beer Tower na mukang golden toge...hehehe..

2nd Stop : Asakusa

Price Ticket : FREE

What i enjoyed most :

The two japanese I am with taught me how to prepare myself before entering the temple.. First you have to go to the incense and draw the smoke to your body.. It attracts good luck daw and repels evil. Then afterwards pag amoy insenso ka na, pupunta ka naman dun sa hugasan ng kamay.. you can also drink from it too. It symbolizes naman na you should clean your self first before praying. Then lastly pwede ka na pumunta sa may door nung temple to pray. May clap routine pa before praying na tinuro din nila saken on the spot. It was really fun and intersting to learn other peoples culture...

Pag good ung  fortune mo you get to keep the paper, peo pag bad kailangan mo xang itali dun sa parang sampayan sa gilid.. It was really interesting...

Ung street din pala papasok ng temple has many stores for omiyage/Ipasalubong, medyo ok na din ung price nila dito. And madaming variety ng items na pwede ipang pasalubong.  So ok na din mamili dito...

3rd Stop : Akihabara

Akihabara is the place for people who loves anime, manga, toys, gadgets etc... In japan they are called Otaku.

I requested to go to Akihabara para bumili ng Funko Pop toys kaso waley akong nabili kahit isang toy... huhuhu.. nag sisi ako bat nde ko binili ung K-ON na figures kahit ung si Yui chan lang..

Nag Maid Cafe din pala dito.. Ung mga naka maid custome na Japanese girls and they would treat you as their masters.

Food Price : @Maid Cafe... medyo mahal.. like ung isang Coffee Latte nasa 500 yen each.. e para lang xang ung sa vendo na tig 100 yen... hehehe...

What i enjoyed most : You are not allowed to take pictures of the maids. peo they give free polaroid photo of you and your chosen maid. pero sa tunay na buhay, nasayangan ako sa ginastos ni Saito san sa maid cafe... like 30mins lang kame ata naupo dun.. ordered parfait and cake peo naka 7500 yen na kame.. o diba.. ang mahal..

Last Stop : Tokyo Tower

kaso not during rainy nights...

Price Ticket : ¥900 for adult.

What i enjoyed most : i really like night lights of the city.. I like taking photos of it too... kahit medyo foggy tinry ko pa din kumuha ng ibang shots and i think ok naman ung iba... AND if given a chance ulet.. babalik talga ako sa Tokyo Tower.

After all the sight seeing, nag dinner kame sa yakiniku restaurant... then binalikan na namin ung bag ko sa train station coin locker.. Yun.. end of Part 2.

I dont want to expect much pero sana may kakaiba namang mangyari...

Nov 13, 2015

6:15 call time namin ni Goto san sa Sakai station...ang aga to think na ot pa ko the wholw week before this trip...pero sakto naman ang dating ko.. di late.. di din maaga... nagkita kame agad pag pasok ko pa lang ng istasyon. (papa good shot, para d ako iligaw.. hahaha)

After less than an hour nasa ShinOsaka na kame.

1st time ko toh... weee.. its not that OA na bullet fast... saktong mabilis lang kesa sa normal... medyo madaming stop before Tokyo pa..  Pero total of 2hrs+ lang ung biahe... (see Japan map kung gano kalayo Osaka to Tokyo... aameeeyziiing)

On our way to Tokyo i was lucky na nagpakita din sken ang Mt Fuji... (another 1st, brought to you by YBC... hahaha)

#Lucky

We didnt exactly get off Tokyo station nga pala.. nag request kasi ako na puntahan muna si Hachiko sa Shibuya so bumaba kame dun sa station between ShinYokohama at Tokyo.. Sa Shinagawa..
Nag transfer sa ibang train, then viola... Shibuya Station... HACHIKO Statue... weeeee...

Medyo maliit si Hachiko.. medyo nde din xa pinapansin by local Shibuya people. pero madaming foreigner at mga ibang Japanese din naman na nag papapicture... So after pictorial, tinry namin hanapin ung busiest Crossing sa Shibuya.. pero fail kasi Friday, Normal day so konti lang tao... But Goto san is so nice na kinuha nia cam ko then stand on the plant pot para mapicturan from higher angle ung crossing...

I would like to invite him to have coffee sa Starbucks malapit dun sa crossing kaso from the window makita mo na din na wala ng space, and kailangan na namin pumunta ng opis para masabing official ang business trip ko.. hahahaha...

[At the Chiba Office]

Naglunch, nag meet and greet , nakipag meeting and then after 3hrs tpos na ang business trip.. #FreeFoods hahahaha...

Medyo kabado ako sa Welcome party.. All of them are Japanese and i'll be the only pinoy in the group. I know a little Nihongo but may mga nde pa din ako familiar na terms lalo pag hinde related sa trabaho..  but to my surprise, hinde ako naging awkward the whole night nakapag joke pa ko na tinawanan naman nila.. whew.... Nag transfer pa kame sa isang venue after dinner and nakanta ko sa videoke ng japanese song... (in hiragana, not romaji... naks..) hahaha...

Then after the Dinner and the Nomikai (drinking party) mga 11pm nag check in na ko sa hotel malapit sa Myoden Station. The hotel name is SUPER HOTEL, parang joke pero im not joking un tlaga name nia.. as in like SUPER...(insert Jimmy-Fallon-kid-in-braces accent) hehehe...

Cute and malaki ung room.. Anlaki din ng bathtub so i didn't waste any moment go na sa bathtub... lalo na medyo anlamig sa Chiba-shi/Tokyo-shi the whole day..

hehehe
